Tooling your new Altec aerial or digger derrick unit is only a phone call away. Altec Supply is proud to offer truck kits which allow users to have immediate access to all the tools and accessories required when outfitting a truck. Altec Supply is dedicated to providing a cost-effective solution for apprentice linemen. Our commitment to linemen and other utility workers is to keep them working as safely as possible by supplying high quality tools and climbing equipment. - Grounding and Mechanical Jumper Assemblies
Grounding assemblies can be fabricated with #2, 1/0, 2/0, or 4/0 600 Volt yellow or orange 25kV cable, hot stick or barehand clamps, and threaded or unthreaded ferrules. Grounding assembles are tested for resistance, tagged with resistance value and date-tested. Heat shrink is applied to protect from water penetration, providing a barrier to resist moisture and corrosion and positive stress relief of grounding cables at their terminations.
